This article provides an overview of Batch Mode in OI-Q.
Introducing Batch Mode
Batch Mode is a feature of OI-Q that allows you to select a group of transcripts and have a contextual conversation, rather than only asking a single binary question.
It's designed for more analytical jobs - the ones where you're not just looking for a yes/no, but trying to map out a process or documentation from your transcripts. You're essentially having a conversation with your transcript data. You start with a question, get an answer, then ask a follow-up based on what you see. You can refine, drill down, change direction or ask OI to look at something differently - all within the same session.
Think of it like a white boarding partner!
How to use Batch Mode
Accessing Batch Mode is easy, just follow the same path to OI-Q. Check out the below overview:
When to use Batch Mode vs OI-Q
Use OI-Q² when you already know what you're looking for and just need it validated for a meeting or a conversation.
Use Batch Mode when you're not sure yet what you'll find and want to explore the data iteratively - the way you might dig into a spreadsheet by filtering and sorting to discover the story, rather than pulling a report.
The other practical difference: Batch Mode is better for trend analysis because you can ask follow-up questions. OI-Q² doesn't do that - it only synthesises the fixed set of responses you already have.
